Dr. Joni Jefferson, DO
Dr. Joni Jefferson, DO, earned her undergraduate degree with honors at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. She then completed post-baccalaureate studies at Southern Illinois University, and soon after made her way to the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. During her time at UMDNJ, she pursued a Master of Public Health degree, and ultimately earned her medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. She returned to New Jersey to complete an advanced family medicine residency at Hunterdon Medical Center and has stayed in the Garden State ever since.
As a female of color with expertise in research, Dr. Joni is amongst the 5% of minority physicians within the medical field.
After over 15 years of traveling the country to perfect her craft, Dr. Joni established Zen Aesthetics in Morristown, New Jersey, becoming its medical director.

Dr. Marcella believes that rejuvenating a patient’s natural radiance while respecting and highlighting their unique features is key in achieving a true ZEN result! She takes pride in continuously educating herself to ensure that client transformations appear effortless and natural.
